dancing with the stars

okay i really do like "dancing with the stars"-the outfits are a little(okay alot) immodest but i still really like it.i dvr it so i can watch it when i have time and then i don't have to watch all the advertisements...so i just barely got to watch the first week and for those of you who have seen it-you will know who i'm talking about-i do not like the profane old grandma because i really don't like profanity but i especially don't like it from a grandma: they should only be sweet and cute! so i hope she gets voted off soon.

is it time?

kaden is such a sweet kid but there is one thing that drives me bonkers about him-he hates being late and i typically am a late person, so he is always reminding me how late i am. we were on the way to his baseball practice at 3* clock, it was probably 2:57 and he starts worrying are we going to be late and i keep telling him it will be okay. but as the minutes get closer to 3 he keeps worrying and reminding me that he's going to be late. so as the clock turns 3 and we are not at practice he says "oh great! i'm late" and then it's onto counting the minutes of how late we are. well we roll into baseball practice at 3:04 and kaden says "i'm four minutes late mom" i assure him that it is okay and he looks at me very seriously and says "mom if the coach wanted practice at 3:04 he would of said so, he said practice was at 3* clock." this isn't the only time issue we have either-whenever i tell him "just a minute" he proceeds to count to 60 for me...i remind him that this is rude and moms will not help rude and impatient little boys, no matter how sweet they are. also if he asks me what time it is i usually round up, he then tells me no its not and gives me the exact time...i then ask why he asked me in the first place? uggggh

relationship: great

a couple of weeks ago kelsi was helping me fill out some patient information forms, after she was done i was checking to see if all the information was correct...one line caught my attention-

emergency contact: lisa marie jensen
relationship: great

made me smile! and it was correct- i'm so glad our relationship is great, what would i do without lisa marie:)

along with being great, she's also one superb cake decorator

(brookes 5th birthday)

koyisms

i love the cute little things kids say, a few koy has said lately:
*that's a cool motorbikle(motorbike)
*can i have some hanitizer(hand sanitizer)
*i want teeter totters for lunch(tater tots)
*do you hear those clickets(crickets)
*the popsicles are in the fridger(freezer)
*will you friz it to me(when playing frisbee)
*you lion brooke(you're lying brooke)...this is my favorite, brooke always growls back at him like a lion.
*can i have some backwash(mouth wash)

shopping

we went shopping in idaho falls a couple saturdays ago-shopping is not my favorite thing...i have never been fond of shopping. it seems to take to long and i get frustrated without finding what i need, plus taking along 4 kids makes each stop take about 500 times longer than it should. so after many stops i got the kids mcdonalds and said "i am just going to run real fast into this next store while you're eating." Brooke gave me a look like in the picture above and said,"mom, you always say you're going to run in real fast and you always just walk in!"

kelsi

i love this picture of kelsi but when did she grow up-this picture really stopped me...all of a sudden she doesn't look so much like my "little" girl anymore. it's so exciting to see as my children grow and develop their own personalities and dreams- i can remember at kelsi's age i always dreamed of being a mom and kelsi made my dreams come true! thank you kelsi cute...i love you.
