my teeth

i lost a tooth!
brooke was so excited, she said "now you can put it under your pillow and get some money!" i informed her that big people should not loose teeth and i would have to get it put back in. she asked if i would have to go to the dentist and i said yes. she said "you don't like the dentist!" that's putting it mildly-i'm terrified of the dentist... seriously. but a thought came to me that i had recently heard from a talk that Sister Dalton gave in a conference where she said "i can do hard things" so i called the dentist-a hard thing for me! i have the nicest dentist ever(Elder Hammond-of the seventy), so i don't know why it's so hard for me to go...i literally cry the second he asks how i am doing but he puts up with me and never seems to be annoyed. so he asked how i was doing and i said good and he replied "you were born good" and that sounds so cheesy but he is so genuine. and he always calls me by my name, even though i haven't been back for years and he always asks about my kids. well i had to get my tooth cemented back in and he had to hold it there for 15 minutes-so he asked if i would like to hear the story that President Monson told them at their meeting before conference. of course i did. he said that President Monson told them about the "lost battalion" from World War II: a group of about 600 soldiers who were surrounded by german forces that refused to surrender- they had no food or shelter, limited water and were running out of ammunition. there were many attempts to rescue them. first by air, second by land and the third attempt was to send pigeon spys in...they finally were able to break through german defenses and rescue what was left of the group-only about 200. then he said President Monson related it to us and when we serve & save others do we keep on trying over and over or do we give up on the first try: thinking we did our best? it's amazing to be at the dentist office of all places and feel the spirit. i am so thankful for such a nice dentist- the best part was that he only charged me $10- for over an hours work...i know he must feel so sorry for me:) i still will never be able to say i love goint to the dentist but i do love my dentist-what a neat man!

march in review

well i threw away my calendar for march so i have no idea what we did to stay busy, but i know we were...plus i only had like 10 pictures for the month, so this should be short and sweet:)

we took a weekend and saw the bear cubs at bear world-my kids thought they were pretty cool-i thought they looked like giant moles.
we had st. patricks day fun-i don't do much besides the good ol' tradition of green eggs and ham(and we had cinnamon rolls).
KELSI, DO YOU LIKE GREEN EGGS AND HAM?
OH YEAH! I LIKE THEM-YES MAM.

KOY, WOULD YOU EAT THEM ON ST. PATRICKS DAY?

OF COURSE, I'M JUST GLAD THEY'RE GREEN AND NOT GRAY!

KADEN, DO YOU LIKE GREEN EGGS AND HAM?

YEAH AND I LIKE TO EAT THEM WITH MY FAM!

AND DO YOU LIKE THEM BROOKE?

YOU BET I LIKE THEM...THEY'RE OFF THE HOOK!

KENT, DO YOU LIKE GREEN EGGS AND HAM?

NO, I WOULD RATHER EAT SOME SPAM!

...well you can't please everyone!
we have volleyball tournaments each saturday for kelsi and she is doing so good-getting most of her serves over the net pretty easy this year, something her mom can't do! it is alot of fun to watch her play and i'm glad she enjoys playing with her team-she is not a fan of some of their cheers, but still participates!
