we had a wonderful fireside for a our stake by jane clayson johnson (she wrote the book: "i am a mother" and was a news woman-i didn't know who she was). from her starting words she was crying clear to the end of her talk and that is exactly how i am-i feel the spirit and i immediately start crying but the amazing thing was she could talk perfectly coherent and captivating at the same time as she was crying-i need to learn how to do that! her message was simple: TRUST IN THE LORD!
*he knows me: i mean totally knows me, every single thing-even the bad and yes he still loves me and will always love me (that's why we need the atonement, to be forgiven and forgive ourselves and accept his love).
*he has a plan for me: a very specific plan and it is probably different than the plan that i had in mind...with a few more twists and turns that i'd rather not take:)
*he loves me: she asked "can you feel that?" you know he loves you and we should stop to feel that love daily.
*he will never leave me: this was my favorite one and she quoted a scripture in the Doctrine and Covenants that i wish i could remember-but he will always be near us, that we were never meant to do what we have to do alone.
i love the gospel, i am constantly uplifted and blessed by it in my life.

I really appreciate the recap. I had to work and was so bummed that I couldn't go. Thank You for taking such good notes for me!!!
Thanks so much for that, Jacey! I totally forgot about it (darn primary job!) and was SO sad I missed it. I love that book! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
